Meet Ian Cruise

There is an FB page dedicated for an upcoming indie film called Ang Masakusita, and they recently posted pictures of prospective actors—all of them auditioned I assume for the movie. A dark and erotic movie that probes into the deviant fantasies and behavior of a masochist whose pleasure is primarily satisfied through pain inflicted on him. And as a moviegoer and indie film fanatic, I wanted to say that I wanted to see this boy right here in that movie. Ha ha ha! Come on, the other actors I saw in the album already appeared in other indie films and they have proven nothing, so let’s keep hoping for a new one to make it big in this industry of literally cheap flicks and semi-M2M films. His name, as per that FB page, is Ian Cruise. Enjoy your Sunday, SM readers.

Long Live The Azkals

Here's an excerpt from Yahoo! on the Azkals: The Ghost of SEA Games Past almost came back to haunt Malaysia, but in the end the current Southeast Asian champions escaped with a 1-1 draw against the Philippine Azkals in their international friendly last night at the Rizal Stadium. The caption for this picture says: James Joseph Younghusband (L) of Philippines Azkals battles for the ball with S. Kunanlan of Malaysia during a friendly match at the Rizal Stadium in Manila February 29, 2012. The game is part of the Azkal's preparation for the Asian Football Confederation Challenge Cup next month in Nepal. The match tied at 1-1.

Mark The Summer Season

Ngayong summer, magpapatalo ba naman ang Bench sa palakihan ng bukol ng notang artista? Hahaha. Here’s Jake Cuenca in his usual maangas look and yummylicious hita and abs. I announced my return to blogging a few days ago yet I haven’t been very busy updating this blog. I was busy on something else. So forgive me if my posts seemed a little late, but, hey, this is my blog and I want to use this as my future reference when I get older, reference for pictures like this, pictures of Jake Cuenca, whose luster has lost its glory in the past few months and seasons. Or maybe I’m just not watching TV that much. I’m glad I still have Facebook and Twitter which are always full of relevant and most of the time crappy updates from friends in the showbiz industry. LOL.

Here Comes Summer 2012

My summer started early. Three weeks ago in Boracay, two weeks ago in Nagsasa and yesterday in Antipolo. The whole year feels like summer. F&H agrees to that, eh? Who is he?

Meet Richard Yap

When did we find a 40-ish guy became hot and popular while at that age in Philippine television history? Normally, they work their way to the top from their teenage days, right? By hook or by crook? Well, here’s one guy who, 10 years ago, probably never knew he would be exposed in this kind of spotlight. Meet My Binondo Girl’s Richard Yap (and his dancing nipples). He’s sexy and all, and he’s 44 as per the last article I bumped into. That’s new. I like it. Click here for more.

Simply Manila Is Back!

Blogging is in my blood. No matter what happens after a long break, I would still go back to blogging like an addiction I can’t get easily shake off. So what’s new? And what’s old? As I was living a humble though hectic life away from the internet, I realized one thing: That gay indie films and gay-related advocates live strongly online, and not as much in the real world. Without the internet, gay indie films are never heard of. They don’t exist. Or almost. So I think we owe one to this modernity and high-tech-ness—which has become the primal tool for gay power and awareness. Plus we get to share and save pictures we can’t save in our phones for our daily pleasure. As I start anew with blogging, I ask everyone to be more active in sharing their thoughts and hot collections. You can always reach me through almond0015 (at) yahoo (dot) com. Thanks much. Have a good one.

Sexy Dingdong Dantes

Dingdong Dantes

It Is The Place To Be!

If you are living in this city full of irony, you will end up either stressing out yourself or simply getting by. Some control freaks (that could be me once in a while) always end up vastly aggravated with how things would turn out against the high standards they set for themselves, for the people around them and for everything else they see. If you will not learn how to accept things the way they are, you will find no hope in Manila. So, again, if you are a control freak, prepare yourself for major disappointments. Or, you can lower your expectations. I used to have an account with Planet Romeo. I joined the site to book one-night stands or hopefully find fuck buddies, which I think is the major reason why majority of gay guys would sign up for such site, yet most accounts I have seen contained catchphrases expressing their desire to be in serious relationships and to find true love. I felt like I entered the wrong site. I was out there having a good time but I found myself lost in an island full of hopefuls and interrogators. It is irritating at times when you find yourself being asked too many questions by faceless individuals. It feels like everyone in there embarked on an endless journey to find the right person. My desire for sex would eventually wear out after an hour or two. I only wanted one night and nothing else. But, for most parts, it’s the place to be.
